Greek steel pipe supplier Corinth Pipeworks, the steel pipe segment of Belgium-based Cenergy Holdings, has announced that it will supply high-frequency welded (HFW) steel pipes for Australian energy company Woodside Energy’s Trion deepwater field located in the Gulf of Mexico. This contract will extend Corinth Pipeworks’ offshore presence in the Gulf of Mexico.

Accordingly, Corinth will produce approximately 118 km of HFW steel pipes at its state-of-the-art facilities. The scope of supply also includes the application of external coating and concrete weight coating, all of which will be performed at the same location as the pipe manufacturing. This integrated approach ensures optimal quality control and efficiency throughout the production and coating processes.
