EU launches AD duty probe on certain pipe products from Macedonia, Russia, Turkey

The European Commissioned has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation against imports of welded tubes, pipes and hollow profiles of square or rectangular cross-section, of iron other than cast iron or steel other than stainless, from Macedonia, Russia and Turkey.

The investigation of dumping and injury cover the period from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.

The investigation will be concluded, within normally 13, but not more than 14 months from the date of the launch of the investigation. Provisional measures may be imposed not later than seven months.
