Germany's commercial vehicles output up 5.15 percent in Jan over Dec

In January this year, commercial vehicle registrations in the German market totaled 24,131 units, down 20.6 percent month on month and increasing by 12 percent year on year, according to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). 
 
According to the VDA, in January this year 23,850 commercial vehicles rolled off production lines in Germany, which represents a month-on-month growth of 5.15 percent and a year-on-year decline of 12 percent.
 
In the given month, a total of 17,980 commercial vehicles were exported from Germany, down by 1.22 percent month on month and falling by nine percent compared to January 2014.
