In order to eliminate its backward production capacity, Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Handan Iron and Steel Group has decided to build a large-scale production line for steel sections to replace its old steel rolling system. The new production line will produce billet, rail steel, H-beams, angles, channels and other kinds of steel sections, with a designed annual capacity of 1.38 million mt.

Deliveries of equipment for the project are to be completed in June this year by Chinese manufacturing company MCC-SFRE Heavy Industry Equipment Co., Ltd.
