On October 28, Hebei Steel Group announced its ex-factory prices for November. The details are as follows:
1. Wire rod
The price of 6.5 mm Q235 is at RMB 3,350/mt ($490/mt).
2. Rebar
The price of 16-25 mm diameter HRB 335 is at RMB 3,650/mt ($534/mt), while that of 16-25 mm diameter HRB 400 stays at RMB 3,800/mt ($556/mt).
3. HRC
The price of 5.75 mm x 1,500 mm x C Q235B is at RMB 3,500/mt ($512/mt).
4. CRC
The price of 1.0 mm SPCC is at RMB 4,300/mt ($630/mt).
5. Full Hard
The price of 1.0 mm SPCC is at RMB 3,900/mt ($571/mt).
6. HDG
The price of 1.0 mm SGCC CR galvanized coils is at RMB 4,700/mt ($688/mt), while that of 1.0 mm SGH340 HR galvanized coils is at RMB 5,200/mt ($761/mt).
7. Color coated
The price of 0.5 mm CGCC is at RMB 6,200/mt ($908/mt).
The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of November 1, 2008.
