New orders in German construction up 3.7 percent in 2015

In December last year, the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry increased by 3.9 percent month on month and increased by 19.8 compared to December 2014, as reported by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
 
In December last year, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry rose by 6.8 percent year on year and decreased by 2.8 percent month on month.
 
Meanwhile, in 2015 the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry increased by 3.7 percent on year-on-year basis. In the year in question, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry increased by 1.3 percent compared to 2014.
