South Korea’s new car registrations down 3.0 percent in January-August

In August this year, South Korea’s new car registrations increased by 1.3 percent month on month and went down by 4.7 percent year on year to 22,263 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in the January-August period this year, South Korean new car registrations declined by 3.0 percent year on year to 169,892 units.
