Turkey's steel pipe exports down 2.4 percent in 2013

According to the statistics provided by the Turkish Steel Pipe Manufacturers Association (CEBID), last year Turkey's steel pipe exports decreased by 2.40 percent year on year to 1.86 million mt. The value of these exports decreased by 7.26 percent on year-on-year basis to $1.64 billion.
 
In 2013, the largest export markets for Turkish steel pipes were Iraq, the US and Algeria. The value of exports to Iraq increased by 8.08 percent to $355.09 million, while the value of exports to the US declined by 23.51 percent to $235.75 million and the value of exports to Algeria increased by 9.56 percent to $179.40 million, all year on year.
