The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the preliminary results of its administrative review of the countervailing duty order on oil country tubular goods (OCTG) from South Korea.

For the review period between September 29, 2022, and December 31, 2022, the DOC has determined a subsidy rate of 0.14 percent for SeAH Steel Corporation and SeAH Steel Holding Corporation.

In addition, the DOC will rescind an administrative review, in whole or in part, if all parties that requested the review withdraw their requests within 90 days of the date of publication of the notice of initiation of the requested review. The DOC received withdrawal request for JU Besteel Co., Ltd. (AJU Besteel), Husteel Co., Ltd. (Husteel), ILJIN Steel Corporation (ILJIN), and NEXTEEL Co., Ltd. (NEXTEEL).

The final results of the review are expected to be announced within 120 days of publication of the preliminary results.
