US ITC decides to maintain duties on German pipe

Wednesday, 22 August 2012 02:23:50 (GMT+3)   |
On Tuesday, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final determination in the sunset review of the antidumping (AD) order on certain seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from Germany.

As expected, the ITC made an affirmative determination that revocation of the order would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry.

Accordingly, because the US Department of Commerce had likewise made an affirmative determination in its sunset review of this order, the AD order on certain seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from Germany will remain in force for a further period of five years.
