SDI, Nucor raise merchant bar prices

In a letter to customers Monday, Steel Dynamics said it will raise prices for merchant and structural products by $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt), effective with all new orders. The announcement follows a similar one by Nucor late last week.

Published list prices for US domestic merchant bar are now as follows:
