Argentina’s auto output down 14.9 percent in November from October

Argentina’s auto production in November this year totaled 27,099 units, falling by 14.9 percent month on month and down by 26.4 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.

According to Adefa, Argentinian auto exports decreased by 7.3 percent in November compared to the previous month and were down by 31.2 percent compared to November last year to 17,921 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in November totaled 22,900, decreasing by 15.8 percent month on month and falling by 30.8 percent year on year.

The nation’s automotive industry produced 300,263 units in the January-November period of this year, 32.7 percent less year on year. In the same period, exports fell to 205,283 units, down 16.7 percent year on year.
