Argentina’s auto production output in June this year totaled 23,916 units, decreasing by 21.02 percent month on month and fell by 39.3 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
According to Adefa, Argentinian auto exports declined by 20.3 percent in June compared to the previous month and were down by 24 percent compared to June 2018 to 17,401 units. Meanwhile, car sales to dealers in June totaled 36,501, decreasing by 34.1 percent year on year and growing by 30.6 percent month on month.
The nation’s automotive industry produced 161,182 units in the first half of the current year, 33.6 percent less than in the same period of the previous year. Likewise, exports also declined in the first six months this year to 107,686 units, down 11.4 percent year on year.
