Argentina’s auto production in March this year totaled 19,164 units, decreasing by 26.7 percent month on month and falling by 34.4 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
According to Adefa, Argentinian auto exports dropped by 23.1 percent in March compared to the previous month and were down by 33.9 percent compared to March last year to 13,928 units. Meanwhile, car sales to dealers in March totaled 18,922 units, decreasing by 30.4 percent month on month and declining by 43.9 percent year on year.
The nation’s automotive industry produced 65,980 units in the January-March period of this year, 14 percent less year on year. In the same period, exports fell to 40,734 units, down 15 percent year on year.
