Brazil's iron ore export volume amounted to 35.31 million mt in June this year, increasing 4.5 percent compared to the same month of 2017, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Brazil's iron ore exports in June totaled $1.60 billion in value, increasing 17.69 percent year on year.
In June, Brazil's export volume of semi-finished products of iron and steel amounted to 1.04 billion mt, up by 45 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while these exports were valued at $621.51 million, increasing by 99 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, in June Brazil's flat steel exports totaled 235,613 metric tons, down by 24.5 percent year on year. The revenue generated by these exports totaled $184.3 million, down 10.5 percent from the June 2017 level.
