Brazil's iron ore export volume amounted to 33.96 million mt in November this year, decreasing 0.54 percent compared to the same month of 2017, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Brazil's iron ore exports in November totaled $1.86 billion in value, increasing 22.36 percent year on year.
In November, Brazil's export volume of semi-finished products of iron and steel amounted to 826,069 mt, up by 8.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while these exports were valued at $453.17 million, increasing by 25.03 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, in November Brazil's flat steel exports totaled 279,374 metric tons, down by 12.86 percent year on year. The revenue generated by these exports totaled $193.813 million, down 10.1 percent from the November 2017 level.
