Japan’s Nippon Yakin to better meet customer demand with new CR mill

Tuesday, 17 December 2024 13:58:57 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

Japan-based Nippon Yakin Kogyo, a producer of high-performance alloys and high-quality stainless steel, has announced that it has commissioned its new high performance cold rolling mill at its Kawasaki works.

The new mill, which becomes the fourth one at the company’s thin plate production facilities, offers high productivity, as well as control over plate thickness and shape. The investment will allow Nippon Yakin to increase the quality of its products and respond to demand for thinner products.

Also, the new mill will fully begin production this week, following final test runs.
