US confirms final CVD rate on cut-to-length plate from South Korea

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final results of its administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on certain carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from South Korea for the period between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022.

The review found that South Korea’s POSCO Co., Ltd. received countervailable subsidies during the given period. The final subsidy rate has been determined at 1.47 percent for the company, in line with the preliminary results.
