In June this year, Turkey’s total welded tube exports rose by 38.0 percent month on month to 201,678 mt and declined by 11.0 percent year on year, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). These exports had a value of $205.06 million, up by 33.4 percent month on month and down by 25.9 percent from June 2022.
In the January-June period this year, Turkey’s welded tube exports amounted to 924,204 mt, down 12.0 percent, while the value of these exports moved down by 23.2 percent to $940.49 billion, both compared to the same period of 2022.
In the given period, Turkey’s largest welded tube export destination was Romania which received 143,656 mt. Romania was followed by Morocco with 124,614 mt and the UK with 75,204 mt.
