US OCTG exports up 3.3 percent in October from September

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) totaled 18,692 mt in October this year, up 3.3 percent from September and down 11.3 percent from October last year. By value, OCTG exports totaled $37.8 million in October, compared to $38.2 million in the previous month and $46.6 million in the same month last year.

The US shipped the most OCTG to Canada in October with 15,514 mt, compared to 14,384 mt in September and 13,076 mt in October last year. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 or more) for US OCTG in October.
