US structural pipe and tube exports down 9.7 percent in October from September

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of structural pipe and tube totaled 9,716 mt in October this year, down 9.7 percent from September and down 2.9 percent from October last year. By value, structural pipe and tube exports totaled $15.6 million in October, compared to $17.7 million in the previous month and $19.8 million in the same month last year.

The US shipped the most structural pipe and tube to Canada in October with 5,042 mt, compared to 7,154 mt in September and 4,605 mt in October last year. The other top export destination was Mexico with 4,545 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US structural pipe and tube in October.
