US mechanical tubing exports up 5.8 percent in October from September

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of mechanical tubing totaled 5,816 mt in October this year, up 5.8 percent from September and down 8.1 percent year on year. By value, mechanical tubing exports totaled $15.3 million in October compared to $15.1 million in the previous month and $19.1 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most mechanical tubing to Mexico in October with 3,311 mt compared to 2,949 mt in September and 3,365 mt in October last year. The other top destination was Canada with 2,165 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US mechanical tubing exports in October.
