In November this year, China produced 173,000 new energy vehicles, up 36.9 percent year on year, including 135,000 pure electric passenger cars and 38,000 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, rising by 23.6 percent and 121.7 percent year on year, respectively, according to the latest data issued by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
In the January-November period of the current year, China’s new energy vehicle output amounted to 1.054 million units, up 63.6 percent on year-on-year basis, including 807,000 pure electric passenger cars, rising by 50.3 percent, and 247,000 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, up 130.3 percent year on year, respectively.
