France's steel product export value down 14.9 percent in Jan-Apr

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-April period of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €2.76 billion, falling by 14.9 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €567.8 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 13.1 percent, €188.07 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 10.2 percent, €120.6 million of cold drawn wire - down by 5.6 percent, €110.01 million of cold rolled steel bars - down three percent, and €215.9 million of metal structures and parts - down by 12.5 percent, all compared to the same period of 2015.
