Italy’s steel imports down 49 percent in Jan-Feb

According to the statistics released by the Italian steel producers' association Federacciai, in the first two months of the current year Italy's steel imports amounted to 860,000 mt, decreasing by 49.1 percent, while its steel exports totaled 865,000 mt, up 19.6 percent, both compared to the same period of the previous year.
