France's steel product export value down 5.13 percent in Jan-Oct

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-October period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €7.65 billion, falling by 5.13 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €1.88 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 14.55 percent, €414.6 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 1.1 percent, €311.9 million of cold drawn wire - down by 1.31 percent, €270 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 3.8 percent, and €661 million of metal structures and parts - up by 13.2 percent, all compared to the same period of 2014.
