France's steel product export value down four percent in Jan-Sept

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-September period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €6.87 billion, decreasing by four percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €1.67 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 12.6 percent, €370.75 million of cold rolled steel strip, remaining almost unchanged, €278.17 million of cold drawn wire - decreasing by 1.16 percent, €242.46 million of cold rolled steel bars - down two percent, and €593.9 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 13.6 percent, all compared to the same period of 2014.
