MMZ’s crude steel output down 8.69 percent in November from October

In November this year, Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, produced 40,626 mt of crude steel, down 8.69 percent, and 21,648 mt of rolled products, falling by 15.92 percent, including 4,481 mt of reinforcing bars and 17,167 mt of wire rod, both compared to October.
 
The company’s rolled product shipments in November totaled 23,973 mt.
 
MMZ expects to produce 35,000 mt of crude steel and 30,000 mt of rolled steel products in December this year, to be delivered to Moldova, Ukraine and EU countries.
