Moldavian Steel Works produces 39,519 mt of rolled steel in May

In May this year, Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, produced 45,489 mt of crude steel and 39,519 mt of rolled steel products, including 19,275 mt of reinforcing bars and 20,244 mt of wire rod. Shipments in May totaled 38,748 mt of rolled products, including 17,692 mt of reinforcing bars and 21,056 mt of wire rod.

According to its production program for June, MMZ plans to produce 27,715 mt of crude steel and 36,940 mt of rolled products.

MMZ's June production rolled steel products will be shipped to Russia, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Slovakia and Latvia.
