On Wednesday, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with an August anniversary date.
The DOC initiated the following administrative reviews of AD orders involving steel products:
(a) Steel Nails from China (A-570-909) - multiple companies.
(b) Corrosion-Resistant Carbon Steel Flat Products from Korea (A-580-816) - Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd.; Dongkuk Industries Co., Ltd.; Haewon MSC Co., Ltd.; Hyundai HYSCO; LG Chem Ltd.; LG Hausys, Ltd.; and Union Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
(c) Light-Walled Rectangular Pipe and Tube from Mexico (A-201-836) - Maquilacero S.A. de C.V.; Nacional de Acero S.A. de C.V.; and Regiomontana de Perfiles y Tubos S.A. de C.V.
(d) Carbon and Alloy Seamless Standard, Line and Pressure Pipe from Romania (A-485-805) - ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Roman S.A.; and Canadian Natural Resources Limited.
The period of review is August 1, 2011 through July 31, 2012.
The DOC initiated the following administrative review of a CVD order involving steel products:
(a) Corrosion-Resistant Carbon Steel Flat Products from Korea (C-580-818) - Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd.; Hyundai HYSCO; and Pohang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd./Pohang Coated Steel Co., Ltd. (POSCO).
The period of review is calendar year 2011.
