CAAM: China’s auto output increases by 10.8 percent in January-August

In August this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China amounted to 1.99 million units and 2.071 million units, up 1.6 percent and increasing by 11.8 percent year 
on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-August period of the current year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China totaled 16.846 million units and 16.755 million units, up 10.8 percent and rising by 11.4 percent year on year, respectively.
