CAAM: China’s auto output up 5.7 percent in January-April

In April this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China amounted to 2.17 million units and 2.122 million units, up 4.3 percent and 6.3 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-April period of the current year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China totaled 8.76 million units and 8.65 million units, rising by 5.7 percent and 6.1 percent year on year, respectively.
