CAAM: China’s auto output up 5.8 percent in January-May

In May this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China amounted to 2.065 million units and 2.092 million units, up five percent and increasing by 9.8 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-May period of the current year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China totaled 10.844 million units and 10.755 million units, up 5.8 percent and rising by seven percent year on year, respectively.
