CAAM: China’s passenger vehicle output up nine percent in January

In January this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 2.1484 million units and 2.2287 million units, decreasing by 7.44 percent and 8.74 percent month on month, while rising by nine percent and 9.27 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
 
As for commercial vehicles, domestic output and sales volumes in January amounted to 303,600 units and 271,900 units, down 9.32 percent and 20.83 percent month on month, while decreasing by 4.42 percent and 3.46 percent year on year, respectively.
