MOC: Average finished steel price in China down 0.5 percent

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (June 13-19) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 0.5 percent week on week.
 
In the given week, average prices of common round steel, galvanized sheet, high-speed wire rod and rebar in China declined by 0.8 percent, 0.8 percent, 0.6 percent and 0.6 percent week on week, respectively.
 
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China increased by 0.2 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) rose by 2.3 percent compared to the previous week.
 
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China remained stable week on week. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal and coking coal decreased by 0.1 percent and increased by 0.2 percent week on week, respectively, while the average price of thermal coal remained stable week on week.
