MOC: Average finished steel price in China up 0.8 percent

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (November 20-26) the overall average finished steel price in China increased by 0.8 percent week on week.

In the given week, average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod, hot dip galvanized and common steel round bar in China respectively increased by 1.7 percent, 0.9 percent, 0.7 percent and 0.6 percent, week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged up by 0.3 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) increased by 1.2 percent compared to the previous week.

In the week in question, the average price of coal in China rose by 0.2 percent week on week. In particular, the prices of thermal coal, anthracite coal and coking coal increased by 0.2 percent, 0.1 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively, all compared to the previous week.
