US DOC: Ukraine in compliance with plate suspension agreement

On Thursday, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced its preliminary determination in the administrative review of the suspension agreement with Ukraine on cut-to-length carbon steel plate

The DOC has preliminarily determined that Metinvest Holding LLC and its affiliated companies, Azovstal Iron & Steel Works and Ilyich Iron & Steel Works, are in compliance with the terms of the suspension agreement.  

The DOC plans to complete this review and issue its final results by November 2013.
