Demand for import plate in the Turkish market has remained at low levels during the past month, though it has improved slightly compared to the previous month.
According to market sources, Macedonian hot rolled plate offers to Turkey have remained unchanged over the past month in the range of $530-540/mt CFR, for February shipment.
On the other hand, Ukrainian shipbuilding plate offers to Turkey have decreased by $15-20/mt over the same period to $310-315/mt CFR, for March shipment.
