Shagang Group raises local steel plate price by $14/mt for June

Jiangsu Province-based Shagang Group, China’s largest private steelmaker, has issued its list price for steel plate for June this year.

Accordingly, the company has raised its offer price for Q235 14-29.9 mm steel plate by RMB 100/mt ($14/mt) to RMB 4,350/mt ($613/mt) ex-works.

In May, the producer had kept its offer price for Q235 14-29.9 mm steel plate stable at RMB 4,250/mt ($599/mt) ex-works.
