WISCO keeps most steel prices unchanged for November production

The prices of steel products from major Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) for Novermber production are as follows (comparisons being with October prices):

1. Prices of hot rolled coil (HRC) products have remained unchanged. The price of Q235 5.5 mm × 1,500 mm is still RMB 4, 260/mt ($641/mt), while that of SPHC 2.75 mm × 1,250 mm is RMB 4,400/mt ($662/mt).

2. Prices of steel plates have remained unchanged, and so the price of Q235 14-20 mm medium plate continues to stand at RMB 4,480/mt ($674/mt).

3. Wire rod prices are unchanged.

4. Prices of common carbon cold rolled (CR) products have remained unchanged. Thus, the price of SPCC 1.0 mm cold plate is still at RMB 5,300/mt ($798/mt), while cold rolled steel coil of the same specification remains at RMB 5,250/mt ($790/mt).

5. Prices of common carbon galvanized coil have remained unchanged, with the price of DX51D+Z 1.0 mm galvanized coil standing at RMB 5,433/mt ($818/mt).

6. Structural product prices have remained unchanged.

7. Prices of non-grain-oriented silicon steel have increased by RMB 100-200/mt ($15-30/mt).

8. Color coated product prices have remained unchanged.

9. Tinplate prices indicate no change.

All the above prices are ex-mill, effective from October 14, and do not include VAT
