US cold finished bar exports down 12.1 percent in October from September

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of cold finished bar totaled 9,706 mt in October this year, down 12.1 percent from September and by 14.1 percent from October last year. By value, cold finished bar exports totaled $23.75 million in October, compared to $25.95 million in the previous month and $26.09 million in the same month last year.

The US shipped the most cold finished bar to Canada in October with 4,734 mt, compared to 6,196 mt in September and 6,094 mt in October last year. The other top destination was Mexico with 4,062 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US cold finished bar in October.
