US drawn wire exports up 1.5 percent in October from September

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of drawn wire totaled 6,739 mt in October this year, up 1.5 percent month on month and up 5.5 percent year on year. By value, drawn wire exports totaled $18.27 million in October, compared to $17.26 million in the previous month and $17.33 million in the same month last year.

The US shipped the most drawn wire to Canada in October with 2,784 my, compared to 3,092 mt in September and 2,916 mt in October last year. The other top destination was Mexico with 2,739 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US drawn wire exports in October.
