France's steel product export value down 13.1 percent in Jan-Feb

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-February period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €1.45 billion, decreasing by 13.1 percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €201.35 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 34 percent, €65.69 million of cold rolled steel bars - declining by 18 percent, €99.78 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 10.1 percent, €48.1 million of cold drawn wire – decreasing by 17.4 percent, and €94.6 million of metal structures and parts - falling by 14 percent, all compared to the same period in 2019.
