France's steel product export value down 28.4 percent in Jan-Apr

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-April period of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €2.48 billion, decreasing by 28.4 percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €385.28 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 27.7 percent, €113.55 million of cold rolled steel bars - declining by 28.6 percent, €168.99 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 21.8 percent, €79.74 million of cold drawn wire - decreasing by 32.6 percent, and €180.95 million of metal structures and parts - falling by 23.2 percent, all compared to the same period in 2019.
