France's steel product export value down 9.9 percent in 2019

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in 2019 France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €9.48 billion, decreasing by 9.9 percent year on year.

During the year in question, France exported €1.44 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 12.5 percent, €404.02 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 11.7 percent, €583.56 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 11.1 percent, €314.16 million of cold drawn wire - down 11 percent, and €686.53 million of metal structures and parts - falling by 8.9 percent, all compared to the previous year.
